Share Your Contests and Sweepstakes All Over Social Media
Due to popular demand, we’ve added Pinterest and Google+ sharing options to to our (Social Media Promotion Platform)!
Now your community has more ways to share content from your promotion and you can get greater visibility into where your community spends their time. Track where content from your promotion is shared, and how that content is interacted with via Facebook, Twitter, email, Pinterest and Google+. Whether you run your promotion as a Facebook App, standalone microsite or embedded iframe in your website of blog, you’ll be set up with these five sharing options.
Here’s a peek at the new social share toolbar. It can be found on your promotion’s About page, on each contest entry’s page and on the Thank You page (the page that appears after someone successfully enters your promotion):
No action is required if you have a live app or site running; your promotion will update automatically to reveal these new sharing options. Take note that the following features will see some changes with this update:
##Tracking Sharing Activity
Track shares, click-throughs and referrals from Pinterest and Google+ just as you have been doing for Facebook, Twitter and e-mail through your Dashboard under Activity & Trends and Daily History.
##Customizing Messages
Personalize the default messages that we provide in the share tools in your Builder under Content > Share Messages. Facebook, Pinterest, Google+ and email will use the same default message while Twitter will have a separate one (due to the limited characters available).
##Refer-a-Friend
If you enable the sharing incentive on your sweepstakes app in your Builder under Entry Process > Timeline, users can get an extra entry if they successfully bring in a referral from any channel of the five channels!
