Strutta Community Guidelines
The Strutta community is built on respect. Respect for yourself. Respect for fellow players. Respect for the game. These guidelines (the “Community Guidelines”) are in place to help you understand what playing the game on Strutta is all about and to make sure everyone has fun doing it. Please keep in mind that in addition to these Community Guidelines, your participation at Strutta.com must also comply with our Terms of Service. Here are a few do's and don’ts to keep in mind while playing:
Go Ahead and:
Upload your own videos.
It's okay for you to upload a video of yourself, doing your best impression of a celebrity etc. but it’s not okay for you to falsely state or misrepresent your identity or take credit for the work of others. Please be respectful of copyright law.
Filter your own content.
We trust that you will be responsible about the content you upload. Some content may not be suitable for all audiences, so use your best judgment and flag your videos appropriately. If your content is deemed inappropriate or offensive by Strutta or others, we will flag it for you or remove it and may send you a warning.
Be a good sport
Strutta players hail from all over the globe. We know you are in it to win it but please be sportsmanlike as you play the game. Respect other people's cultures, beliefs and differences. Win or lose, we are all in this together.
Embed Away
If you want to gain more visibility, we provide you with the necessary code to allow you to embed your videos on your blog or other websites. The embeddable videos link back to your game page on Strutta, where users can vote for you.
But Remember NOT to:
Upload videos or performances that aren't yours.
Strutta is committed to fairness and fun, and celebrates originality and personal ingenuity. If you upload content, which is not yours, it's not fair for the game and to the people that made that content in the first place. So play fair and have fun.
Show nudity in your video or personal Video Egos.
If we catch you parading around in your birthday suit, we will remove your video and may send you a warning. If we catch you doing it a second time, we may delete your account.
Upload illegal or prohibited video content.
If you upload any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable, your account will be terminated and the authorities may be notified.
Be a jackass.
Don't be offensive or trollish and ruin the fun for your fellow players. If you're found to be overtly rude or intimidating (beyond friendly competitive trash talk, that is) and we receive a complaint about it, we may send you a warning and/or terminate your account.
Cheat the system.
This includes spamming or creating duplicate or dummy accounts. If you do, your account will be terminated.
Harm minors in any way, stalk, harass or collect any personal data.
There are no second chances here. You won't get a warning. Your account will be terminated and you will be reported to the authorities.
Use Strutta for commercial purposes.
Strutta is for your personal use. It is not a place for you to try and sell products or services. If we catch you doing so, we will terminate your account. Any commercial use of Strutta or Strutta technologies, must be approved by Strutta in writing.
A Few More Things to Be Aware of:
To Each His Own.
Let's face it; nose vomiting isn't for everyone, and there's plenty of other things on Strutta that you might find offensive (not suitable for kids or workplace). In the event that you feel someone's Strutta content is truly out of line, please report it to us, and we will review it and take any action Strutta deems necessary.
Copyright Laws
If you suspect someone has stolen your content and uploaded it to the Site, a good first step is to tell them to take it down. In the event that they don't respond to your polite request, let us know and we'll look into it for you.
